Hippo Charge! Mekoro Expedition in the Okavango Delta, Botswana

After a sleepless night where we were kept awake by hippo moving very close to our tents while camped on a small island, we encountered these hippo as we joined a deep channel. The hippo charges/breaches in our direction at about 9 seconds into the video. Unfortunately the rest is a little confusing to watch as Mal on the camera nervously tries to look for the hippo through the thick reed bed. You can also hear some nervous laughter and the worried look on Justin's face speaks volumes! We were afraid - VERY afraid!
