Maun - Journeys End! Mekoro Expedition in the Okavango Delta, Botswana

The end of an epic adventure brings big smiles all round as we pole our mekoros into Maun. Mal on the video records the banter as we enjoy the moment and thrill of having actually made it past hippo, charging elephant, crocodiles and thick grass, reeds and papyrus beds. All in all we had travelled 160km. It was then time for a party at The Old Bridge Backpackers and lots of cold (tsididi in setswana) beer!
