On Board Mekoro Cam! The Safari Store's Okavango Delta Product Test Expedition

Poling a mekoro through thick grass and reeds for 8 hours a day, every day, is pretty tough going. Fortunately we loved every minute of it and the open channels of the Delta provided a welcome respite from the hard slog every once in a while. The channels seen to the left and right of the mokoro as the camera pans are made by elephant and hippo. For the elephant these are 'elephant highways' which they regularly use to cross from island to island as they feed. (PS. Excuse the loud sniffing - all those grass seeds play havoc with the sinuses)
