1000 Mile Bister-Free Safari Walking Socks: We cannot remember ever being particularly excited about socks. But we are very excited about these blister-free socks as we know that even short walking safaris can be ruined by a bad blister.

About The 1000 Mile Blister-Free Safari Walking Socks:
These socks are phenomenal. We know of no other sock on the market that claims to prevent blisters, and actually does so. The 1000 Mile sock is a sock within a sock. The inner layer stays with the foot, the outer layer moves with the shoe thus eliminating friction on the skin and reducing wear. We have tested these socks in extreme conditions and they really do work. Steve, who used to run in 'normal' socks and had a bad blister while training for the London Duathlon, bought a pair of 1000 Mile socks and found the socks so effective that he was able to run with the blister. In fact, the double layer is so effective his blister was healing while was running! This is when we decided to stock 1000 Mile socks for your safari as a bad blister on safari, and more so on a walking safari, could literally bring the enjoyment of your safari to an end.

The Safari Walking Sock is also not an ankle sock, but can be worn as such if not extended. We prefer the fact that the sock can be worn slightly longer if the wearer prefers as this offers good protection from ankle-loving ticks, and grass.

The unique mixture of fibres used to make the 1000 Mile Blister-Free Safari Walking Sock helps to keep the foot cool, dry and blister free. These socks are also ideal for safari travel as they are lightweight, and dry very quickly for easy washing in the field.
