What we say about this item of clothing:
We have extended our Rufiji Safari Clothing range to include Children's Zip-off safari trousers! These trousers make packing an easy task. When you get to deciding whether to take shorts or trousers, these Zip-Off trousers solve the problem! Wear these Zip-Offs as trousers in the mornings and evenings when it may be chilly, or if you are going to places such as the Masai Mara which are high above sea level and it gets quite nippy, and then quick as a flash, if you need to go walking or when the sun starts to beat down - convert the trousers into shorts. Lots and lots of pockets for your children to keep guide books, extra film, sunscreen, important documents, and whatever else they choose to take with them on safari.

Features that make this the ideal pair of trousers for your travels:
• 100% Rufiji MaraTech RipStop Fabric. Quickly releases wrinkling caused by packing. Ripstop give the fabric extra strength.
• Moisture Wicking: Moves perspiration away from skin and promotes quick evaporation for dryness and comfort
• Zip-Off trousers: This zip-off system ensure maximum flexibility and convenience. Trousers when cold or to protect your children from the sun, shorts for walking or when it gets too hot. It is also a good idea to wear trousers at times when walking to protect your child from ticks in the grass.
• Pockets: 2 hand pockets and 2 cargo pockets.
• QuickDry: These trousers will wash and dry very quickly - especially in the dry heat of Africa.
• UPF30: This clothing protects you by blocking harmful sun exposure. Your safety increases with the UPF. The Skin Cancer Foundation recommends a rating of UPF 30 or higher.

'Safari 8' & Rufiji Safari Clothing:
We provided the BBC with expert advice and our Boys & Girls Safari Clothing for the recently aired series, 'Safari 8'. This unique CBBC series follows four British and four South African children as they spend a month training to be game rangers in the Kruger National Park in South Africa. The camera and production crew also chose to wear our adult Rufiji safari clothing while on location in the Kruger National Park.
