With this Essential safari shirt we have sought to simplify the styling of our Rufiji MaraTech shirts. Not everyone wants or needs two pockets and a zipped security pocket on safari. While we realised that our MaraTech fabric is the ultimate as the technical fabric of choice, we looked at the world of Men's fashion and came to realise that many were styled with one pocket, or even none at all. The following characteristics of this Essential shirt remains true to our Rufiji MaraTech shirts and as such makes this also an ideal shirt for your safari: • Roll up your sleeves when too hot, roll down your sleeves for protection from the sun or when it gets chilly. • Made from RipStop MaraTech fabric and as such is cool & lightweight, yet very strong. • Versatile chest pocket. • Is quick drying with the ability to wick moisture. • Provides maximum sun protection due to the built-in SPF factor. We think that we have succeeded in simplifying the ultimate travel and safari shirt! • 100% Rufiji™ Ripstop MaraTech Fabric. Quickly releases creasing caused by packing. Ripstop gives the fabric extra strength.
• NEW SilverPlus anti-bacterial technology keeps your shirt smelling fresh for much longer without washing.
• Pockets: Not everyone needs two chest pockets and a security pocket and so this shirt has been simplified in styling to include only one chest pockets with a velcro closure for easy access.
• Moisture Wicking: Strong, cool, MaraTech fabric draws perspiration away from skin and promotes quick evaporation for maximum dryness and comfort.
• +Vent System: This shirt includes our new +Vent system. This system increases the flow of air around your body by including hidden vents along the seamline of the back, top section of the shirt.
• QuickDry: This shirt will wash and dry quickly allowing you to wash and wear your shirt time and again on your safari or travels.
• Roll-up Sleeve Tabs: Use the tab-and-loop system for flexibility and convenience. The tabs secure the sleeves when they're rolled up but remain hidden when sleeves are down.
• SPF50+: The Sun Protection Factor is a measure of the amount of the sun's ultraviolet rays that reach your skin. Our MaraTech fabric will protect your skin from harmful sun exposure - in effect sunblock for your clothing. This is the highest SPF rating we know of on a garment.
